Collaborative Scholarship Programme 2023-24, a joint initiative by MIASA Malaysia and Yayasan Sime Darby
This prestigious scholarship, generously funded by Yayasan Sime Darby, focuses on advancing mental health awareness and support through academic research.
We are currently inviting applications from exceptional candidates eager to pursue their PhD studies in the field of community-focused mental health services. The research scope includes exploring non-clinical alternatives to formal counseling and psychotherapy, such as art-based therapies, peer support, support groups, and more.
Eligible candidates must be Malaysian citizens with a minimum CGPA of 3.30 or its equivalent in their most recent academic qualification. Priority consideration will be given to individuals from the B40 group or persons with disabilities.
Only one scholarship place will be awarded, offering a unique opportunity for individuals to be trailblazers in transforming mental health practices and making a lasting impact on society.
